Exhibitions and collections

Series consists of records pertaining to exhibitions at the Museum of Anthropology from the 1960s to the present day, including programming and events related to specific exhibitions. Material includes exhibition press releases, invitations, proposals, catalogues, and programmes. Records of this series are arranged into files for each represented exhibition, organized chronologically.

Publications, newsletters, and periodicals

Series consists of materials published or printed by the Museum of Anthropology, including books, reports, periodicals, and newsletters. Records in the series are divided into 11 files:

Guides and brochures

Series consists of informational guides, pamphlets, and brochures printed by, and about, the Museum of Anthropology from the 1970s to the 2010s. Guides and brochures cover general Museum of Anthropology information, such as opening hours, exhibitions, maps, and contact information.

Gift shop

Series consists of materials pertaining to the Museum of Anthropology's gift shop. These materials include communications about the shop's opening, advertisements for gift shop products, information about sales and special events, and the online store. Record types include press releases, informational pamphlets and hand-outs, product order forms, and bookmarks.

Programs, events, and milestones

Series contains materials related to programs, events, and particular milestone ceremonies/celebrations at the Museum of Anthropology. Materials are primarily publicity, such as press releases, newspaper clippings, flyers, and invitations. Other record types include informational booklets, programmes, and registration forms. The series is divided into 15 files:

The series is divided into 4 files, grouping together materials related to specific features of MOA's building and spaces:

Prints

Series consists of 13 art prints, related to the collections or exhibitions of the Museum of Anthropology. The series includes works by Arthur Amiotte (Oglala Lakota), Clifford Beck Jr. (Navajo), Doug Cranmer (Kwakwaka'wakw), Robert Davidson (Haida), Jim Hart, (Haida), Richard Hunt (Kwakwaka'wakw), Gordon Miller, and Ken Mowatt (Gitxsan).
