B&W duplicates of slides

File consists of black and white duplicates of colour slides taken by Jensen. Colour printing was expensive at the time, so Jensen printed the images in black and white to use for research purposes.

Shari (Shera) Street

File consists of photographs of Shari (now known as Shera) Street. Street is a watercolour artist, and most of the photographs were taken for publicity purposes.

Judy Cranmer

File consists of photographs of potter Judy Cranmer and many of her pieces. Doug Cranmer, with whom she had lived, taught her to create the designs that she painted free-hand on her pots.

The finishing stage (Rounding the pole)

File consists of photographs documenting the final stage of log preparation for the creation of the Native Education Centre pole by Norman Tait and crew. At the beginning of the file images depict the carvers making their finishing tools, including small single handed adzes and curved knives. This stage involves the carvers adding all the finishing details, such as teeth and eyelids, to the figures. Rounding the log

File consists of photographs documenting the first stage of log preparation for the creation of the Native Education Centre pole by Norman Tait and crew. This stage includes removing the bark, taking off the outer layer of wood, and making it round in preparation for the design to be added. Also included are images of the log being moved from Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast to the construction company's yard and finally to the carving shed at the University of British Columbia.

Asian Cultural Festival

File consists of photographs documenting Norman Tait and his crew of carvers preparing to take part in the Asian Cultural Festival in Vancouver. The event was hosted by the Vancouver Museum, and the images show Norman Tait leading a family meeting about the event, as well as preparation of regalia, and the event itself.

Old community photographs

File consists of photographs taken of old photographs owned by community members in La Push. Jensen took the photographs in the owner's home and provided the owner with a copy of the image she created.

Salish Weavers

File consists of photographs taken for Ken Hansen of a group of Salish weavers on Vancouver Island. Hansen was promoting the group at the time.

Hilary Stewart

File consists of photographs of author Hilary Stewart. The purpose of the photographs was to find a cover shot for her book "The Adventures and Suffering of John R. Jewitt."

Dance performance at the PNE

File consists of photographs of a dance performance at the Pacific National Exhibition grounds in Vancouver 1998. Norman Tait had completed a private pole commission that was publicly carved at the PNE, and he formed a group of Nisga'a dancers to commemorate the event.
