Banners

File contains two slides showing banners designed by McLennan for the City of Vancouver. One was for the 1986 Expo, the other shows a bicycle design.

Argillite

File consists of images of two carvings made from argillite. The images were purposefully taken so that the scale of the object can not be determined. Photographs were taken in the Museum of Anthropology.

Publicity

File contains several publications related to the YVR Art Foundation, including the following: "YVR Art Foundation Scholarship News 2008"; "Foundation News," <i> YVR Art Foundation</i>, Summer 1995 edition; and a copy of the March 2001 edition of the <i>Vancouver</i> magazine. The file also contains a postcard which features several of YVR's Northwest Coast art collection, including carvings, a canoe, and totem poles situated at the International Arrivals terminal.

BC Pavillion in Seville

Subseries contains photographs and textual records pertaining to the "Northwest Coast Indian Art Work" exhibit which was displayed at the BC Pavilion at the World's Fair in Seville Spain in 1992. The photo depict some of the artists involved in the project painting on a wooden screen. The textual records include copies of correspondence addressed to and written by McLennan about the artwork showcased at the World Fair. Other textual records include background information about the art work and brief biographies of the artists involved in the project.

Unfinished metal projects

File mainly consists of textual records pertaining to a researcher looking for information about a bracelet in her possession. Other textual records include photocopies of images of the bracelet in question. The photographs contained in this file are of other silver bracelets on display at the Glenbow Museum and the American Museum of Natural History.

Silver bracelet scans

File contains 9 CD-ROMS (one of which is blank) containing digital images of bracelets held at various museums in Canada and the United States. Some of the CDs also contains digital copies of textual records listing information about the bracelets. The photographs contain images of bracelets from an unspecified museum exhibit(s). The textual records are photocopies of CD covers listing the contents on the CDs.

Massett Haida pole carving

File mainly contains slides of artist Jim M. Hart carving a replica of a pole that originated in Massett. There are also images of the replica pole's raising ceremony held at MOA in 1982.

CMC houses PR

The file contains two copies of a letter McLennan wrote to the CBC's Fifth Estate programe regarding the Northwest Coast Houses project at the CMC, as well as photocopies of news clippings pertaining to the same project. The photograph depicts a man, artist Terry Starr, painting on a wooden screen.

Potential exhibit photographs

File mainly contains images of various indigenous people from around the world dressed in either traditional regalia or in Victorian dress during the turn of the 20th century. The textual records include two pages of a photocopied image and two separate museum exhibit programmes. The first programme is for the <i>Colonial Philippines Photographs 1860-1910 Exhibit</i> held at the Lowie Museum of Anthropology from May - June 1987. The second programme is for the <i>South Africa: The Cordoned Heart</i> exhibit which was organized by the International Centre of Photography in association with the Centre for Documentary Photography at Duke University and prepared for the Second Carnegie Inquiry into Poverty and Development in Southern Africa.
