File contains 3 comment books from the exhibit Potlatch Platform (Museum Students’ Design Projects), from June 21, 1994 - Febrary 19, 1995

This exhibit, which does not appear in the records as ever occurring at the museum, contained ceremonial objects honouring the bear, from the Ainu people, who are indigenous to the island of Hokkaido in northern Japan.

The report outlines the museum's administrative activities and finances for the previous fiscal year as well as listing staff, attendance figures, acquisitions, exhibitions, educational activities, public programming, events, loans, research projects, publications of the museum and its staff, and media coverage of the museum. It includes descriptions of plans to make the museum collections publicly available on the internet, MOA's continued consultation with the Vancouver International Airport, and the final year of the prison outreach program, among other initiatives.

File contains images of some of the painted boards and screens featured in the <i>Transforming Images</i> Exhibit held at MOA and at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. There are also images of some of the artists featured in the exhibit working on their pieces.

File mainly contains textual records related to the background research of the Metal Works exhibit. This research contains photocopies of articles written about Northwest Coast metal works, and copies of correspondence McLennan had with NWC artists. The photographic records in this file are images of the exhibit. The artifacts in this file are copper samples.

File consists of bulletins from Jennifer Webb to Museum Assistants and Volunteer Associates. Bulletins were released weekly. They were intended to provide information about interruptions, installations, and other events that would affect tours and instructions given to visitors. Bulletin are arranged (with some variation) into sections on people, exhibitions, galleries, publications, residencies, and "other."

Subseries contains records related to an exhibit on Northwest Coast metals developed by McLennan in collaboration with two anthropology students. Records include exhibit design notes including case arrangements, the exhibit proposal from the students, correspondence regarding the exhibit preparations, research regarding Northwest Coast metal works and photographs depicting various artifacts that would be included on display.

Sub-series consists of textual records of the two-man show of art by Lyle Wilson and Doug Cranmer, two native artists of the region. Includes biographies of the artists, the opening speech from the exhibit, a news release and a museum brochure.

This exhibit was the first public display of drawings and poems by Nuu-chah-nuulth artist Ron Hamilton.

Subseries consists of records relating to the <i>Through My Eyes</i> exhibit held at the Museum of Vancouver. The exhibit is a collaborative effort curated by 27 First Nations people of different Northwest Coast communities allowing them to “present their personal perspective” of their culture and its objects. McLennan was involved through managing the development, production and implementation of this collaborative effort. Records include photographs and slides of potential exhibit artifacts, media reviews, student paper reviews, exhibit project statements, transcripts of interviews done with First Nations artists, correspondence, consent forms for interviews and audio cassettes of the taped interviews which detail McLennan discussing various pieces of First Nations art with several artists.
