Subseries contains one file consisting of correspondence, draft manuscript pages, and photographs relating to the ‘Marie Mauze Project’. This project involved the Kwakiutl Museum (now named the Nuymbalees Cultural Centre) and pieces from their collection that had been returned to them after the ban on potlatches had been lifted. The project was designed in order to create a book, however, the book was never published.
Subseries consists of images of artifacts and of the exhibit. Artifacts in this exhibit are part of the Laboratory of Archaeology (LOA) collection at UBC. For more information on the objects contact the LOA.
Subseries consists of images taken in the great hall at the Museum of Anthropology showing an exhibit titled Chronicles of Pride. Patricia Richardson Logie participated as an artist showing her portrait of Blanche MacDonald.
Subseries consists of records related to the 1987 Commonwealth Conference which brought together heads of government, delegates and media from every commonwealth country in the world. The MOA contributed examples of Northwest Coast art to the conference.
