Subseries consists of copies of prints and negatives from museums around the world depicting indigenous peoples in Victorian portraiture style photographs during the turn of the 20th century. McLennan acquired these copies with the intention of proposing an exhibit which never materialized. There is also a file of accompanying documentation including correspondence regarding the loans of photographs and other research materials.

Projects included in these records are the installation of Raven and the First Men in the MOA and The Spirit of Haida Gwaii at the Vancouver International Airport. File contains copies of administrative files related to the Bill Reid Canoe displayed at Expo 86. The files contain budgets, copies of correspondence to McLennan from Expo organizers, notes, copies of contracts between Expo and MOA, and other reports related to the exhibition.

Subseries contains one file consisting of correspondence, budget reports, drawings of the cabinetry, and label designs. McLennan worked closely on this project as liaison to Bill Reid while the cases were being constructed to house Reid's jewelry pieces.
