Fin of Shark Pole at MOA notes

File consists of newspaper clippings, research notes, and copies of MOA files collected by Anthony Carter related to the pole various described as Nass River Pole, Fin of Shark Pole, Naekem-kaet Pole, and Eagle-Halibut Pole.

File consists of slides depicting portraits, boats, landscape, image of Minn Sjolseth's paintings of Dan George, a slide of Abundant Rivers Dan George edition, stones, and arrowheads.

File consists of slides labeled Hazelton, Old Hazelton, and Ketchikan. The slides depict totem poles, individuals, and an event which may be Mungo Martin's memorial event.

Misc. Anthony B+W Negs

File consists of negatives depicting Carter and Minn Sjolseth's travels throughout BC and the Yukon, including items labeled "Bear Totem," "Boat, Van," "Entrance to Stanley Park," "Vancouver Island, Graveyard Bay Village, Esperanza Inlet," "Nicola Valley Campsites," "Jackie Burrows and Richard Farnsworth - Filming Bill Miner at Ft. Steel, BC," and "Yukon Border Sign." The file also contains documentation of Sjolseth's exhibition at the Frye Art Museum and negatives labeled "Minn and paintings."

File consists of negatives and two contact sheets. The negative are labeled "NWC Groups," "Coal Harbour Wake 1979," "Highway Overpass Construction, Aberdeen Mall Area, April 2 1986," "Japanese Television scenes at Lac Le Jeune, BC, Nov 1986." Photos depict various unlabeled events, and people, including Minn Sjolseth in her studio.

Northern Spring (before edit)

File consists of a draft of Northern Spring by Anthony Carter, a biography of the Carter family and the community of Goodsoil in Saskatchewan. The text, poetry and design are by Anthony Carter and the cover image is by his brother Phil Carter. The file also contains a newspaper clipping of Carter's obituary and a typed-transcription of the obituary text.

Village Island QCI 1973 Totems (Mamalilikulla)

File consists of one slide labeled Village Island 1973, and several other unlabeled slides depicting totem poles. The slides seem to have been taken at the same time as those used in "From History's Locker."
