Sub-series consists of textual records including reports on the recovery of painted images on Northwest Coast native art and masks. Included is a copy of Heritage West, Fall 1982, vol.6, #3, which contains an article on the MOA image recovery project.
Sub-series consists of textual records related to Halpin’s work on a number of videos. Included is the narrative for the video “Introduction to Totem Poles” and notes and photographic research for the U’mista project.
Sub-series consists of textual records including descriptions and notes on the locations of films on native subjects. Film lists include items from the Museum of Anthropology, University of British Columbia Anthropology department, the Royal British Columbia Museum and the National Archives of Canada.
Sub-series consists of textual records including correspondence regarding and general research notes on totem poles, and specific research on the poles of Stanley Park and the artisans who worked on them. Records also include biographies on the artisans who carved the museum totem poles and correspondence and the agreement between the Museum of Anthropology and the Royal British Columbia Museum to remove totem poles from Kitwancool in 1958. Sub-series also contains slides of totem poles, three video tapes, one photograph and one cassette tape.

General committee records include meeting minutes, reports, and correspondence on the development of ethics and policies for the museum and new curricula in the Anthropology department. Records from the Research and Teaching Committee include budget reports, grant application forms, administrative records, and proposal reports for a new MA degree in Advanced Museum and Curatorial Studies.
Sub-series consists of textual records of the Acquisition Committee and items acquired for the museum. Records include minutes from Acquisition Committee meetings, database printouts of items acquired from Northwest Coast artists between 1977-1997, and the transcribed interview with Coast Salish artist Susan Point by Karen Duffek in 1985.
Sub-series consists of textual records related to an exhibit on visible storage space at the museum. Records include meeting minutes from the Textile Committee and reports by Michael Ames, Moya Robinson, Herb Watson, Audrey Shane, and the Royal Ontario Museum.
