File mainly contains textual records related to the background research of the Metal Works exhibit. This research contains photocopies of articles written about Northwest Coast metal works, and copies of correspondence McLennan had with NWC artists. The photographic records in this file are images of the exhibit. The artifacts in this file are copper samples.
File contains publication Ninstints: Haida World Heritage Site written by George F. Macdonald. This publication is no. 12 in the Museum Note series. In addition is a booklet titled Conservation of Wooden Momuments Proceedings of the ICOMOS Committee IV International Sympsoium.
Subseries consists of images showing objects exhibited during the exhibit titled Museum Quality. This exhibit was purchased for the Museum’s permanent collection by the Anthropology Shop Volunteers. Photographs were taken by Moya Waters.
File contains four photographs of a Northwest Coast style cedar hat. The textual records include a photocopy of an image of the hat featured in the photographs, as well as a photocopy of an image of two silver bracelets.

In addition are photographs of the removal of totem poles and dismantling of houses at Anthony Island. These photographs were not taken by Bill McLennan but kept by him and used for research purposes.
File contains copies of textual records related to the planning and design of the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 86. These records include design proposals and reports, budgets, copies of correspondence between McLennan and other stakeholders in the project, project reports, and copies of memorandums from Expo 86 staff pertaining to information about the event such as site access, customs, and event information for exhibitors.
