British Museum

The majority of images from various museums include information about the artifact such as what it is, the museum it's housed in, and the artifact's catalogue number.

Nuu-chah-nulth

File contains historical images of Nuu-chah-nulth villages and peoples. There is a focus on totem poles and canoes. There are also photographs of a pole raising ceremony to commemorate the visit of Governor General Willingdon who came to Tofino/Ucluelet in the 1920s. There are images of James Rush, Chief Miste Laabats Hamtsiid, and Chief Joseph John, dressed in Nuu-chah-nulth regalia.

Photographs of masks

File contains images of masks in the exhibit <i>Hidden Dimensions: Face Masking in East Asia</i>. The masks are described on the photographs to be "Chinese opera masks from Guizhou Province.

Pitt Rivers Museum

File contains photocopied images of Haida and Nuxalk masks housed at the Pitt Rivers Museum. Other textual records include information on featured Northwest Coast masks and correspondence between McLennan and the museum. The photographs contain images of masks and other Northwest Coast artifacts such as hats, combs, and carvings housed at Pitt Rivers Museum.

Dempsey Bob

File consists of records about Dempsey Bob such as a student paper and exhibit proposal. In addition are images of Dempsey Bob and his artworks.

General Salish

This file contains images of Coast Salish and Kwakwaka'waku artifacts. Many of the photos are official photographs taken by various museums in Canada and the United States, but others are historical photos. These artifacts include masks, rattles, carvings, fishing equipment and fish processing, canoes, and North Coast architecture, such as long houses and house posts.

Heiltsuk/Nuxalk/Oweekeno

File mainly contains historical images of the Heiltsuk, Nuxalk, and Wuikinuxv First Nations. These images depict village life, architecture and house posts, and regalia. The file contains images of a group of Nuxalk who traveled to Berlin to perform there. Images that are not historical depict a ceremony happening in the Great Hall at UBC MOA, unidentified artists working on a set of drawings, and what appears to be the Acwsalcta High School in Bella Coola. Non textual records include photocopies of photographs, and photocopies of museum catalogue cards.
