General Salish

This file contains images of Coast Salish and Kwakwaka'waku artifacts. Many of the photos are official photographs taken by various museums in Canada and the United States, but others are historical photos. These artifacts include masks, rattles, carvings, fishing equipment and fish processing, canoes, and North Coast architecture, such as long houses and house posts.

The Field Museum

File contains images of Northwest Coast boxes and other artifacts such as dishes and shaman drum sets housed at the Field Museum. The textual records include an invoice for the photographs from the Field Museum, as well as a catalogue record for a war rattle.

Glenbow

File contains images of a painted dish from the "F. Smith Coll'n" at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary. There are also two images of bentwood boxes.
