About

The Museum of Anthropology's mission is to inspire understanding and respect for world arts and culture. Within this context, the Audrey and Harry Hawthorn Library and Archives (AHHLA) promotes research through its publicly accessible library and extensive archival holdings. AHHLA serves MOA staff, the larger UBC community, First Nations community members, and the general public by providing information related to general anthropology, archaeology, and museology as well as MOA’s collections, exhibits, educational programs, and history.

The archives are available by appointment only. Contact us at archives@moa.ubc.ca.
