The fonds consists of records relating to Skooker Broome’s function as a designer and as a coordinator for building services at UBC's Museum of Anthropology and contains detailed records relating to producing, planning, designing, and installing exhibits at the Museum of Anthropology. Records include correspondence, drawings, notes, memos, minutes, reports, photographs, proofs, labels, and other materials.

Hand coloured sepia photograph of Gitskan village including structures, totems poles and small groupings of walking people taken by the father of Ena M. Montador. He was a salesman who traveled up and down the coast and may be one of the people in the photograph.Gitskan is a National Historic Site of Canada located at Kitwanga, British Columbia in the Skeena Country in the northwestern region of the province. It was an 18th century earthwork fortress also known as Battle Hill. Gitskan village features several wooden totem poles (featured in the photograph) that were originally erected by several clans on Battle Hill but were moved due to floods.

Fonds consists of five glass plate negatives taken in the early 1930s by James B. W. Cater when he worked for a farming company on Rapa Nui (Easter Island), a Chilean island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at the southeasternmost point of the Polynesian Triangle.

Glass plate negatives feature: a young girl posed in front of a moai, the monolithic human figures carved by the Rapa Nui people; a portrait of a young girl; group portraits taken outdoors.

This fonds consists of 136 slides taken by E. Polly Hammer on various trips to British Columbia, Alaska, Manitoba, and Minnesota during the time she was based in Manitoba. The slides primarily depict totem poles from throughout the Northwest coast, including carvings by Mungo Martin and Henry Hunt. There are also depictions of petroglyphs and other works of art, as well as buildings (houses, museums, forts, and other dwelling places) and landscapes. There are also several photographs of events attended and photographed by E. Polly Hammer. The fonds also contains a booklet with information on and images of totem poles in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

The fonds reflects the religious work and family history of Rev. George Stallworthy and his descendants. The fonds consists of correspondence and drawings related to the family's time in the South Pacific; 20 photographic portraits of family members; sermons, article reprints, and correspondence related to George Burnett Stallworthy's religious work and life; and a scrapbook containing memoranda, correspondence, photographs, clippings, pamphlets, genealogical research, and other ephemera from the Stallworthy family up to 1925.

The fonds consists of materials related to Fuyubi Nakamura's role as Curator of Asian Collections at the Museum of Anthropology (2014-present). Currently this exclusively relates to records of the exhibit (In)visible: The Spiritual World of Taiwan through Contemporary Art/形(無)形-台灣當代藝術的靈性世界 (November 20, 2015 – April 3, 2016).

The fonds consists of photographs, transparencies, negatives, prints, slides, textual records and objects. Contents of the fonds primarily reflect First Nations cultures in British Columbia between 1960 and 1980, including the Haida, Coast Salish (formerly Burrard Reserve), Kwakiutl (Kwakwaka'wakw), Gitsegukla and Ans'pa yaxw (Kispiox) nations. Notable First Nations personalities and artists documented include Chief Dan George, Gerry Marks, Henry Hunt and Norman Tait. Contents also include: B.C. landscapes such as Gwayasdums (Gilford Island), Klemtu, Mamalilikulla and Uchucklesaht; First Nations children; First Nations exhibits, totem poles and installations at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and for the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan. The original accession was arranged in series according to Carter's published works which focus on specific localities, communities, individuals and subject matter, with additional series related to Carter's photojournalistic work and personal recordkeeping added in 2019 when an accrual was made to the fonds.

Fonds consists of 21 photographs from the 1978 Bill Reid pole raising ceremony at Skidegate, an event at which Gill was an observer.

The fonds consists of records created by Ryckman during his tenure with the Department of Indian Affairs, primarily from the 1920s and 30s. The fonds includes contact sheets made as copies of photographs that remain in possession of Ryckman’s heirs. Records in the fonds take the form of notes and correspondence. Also included in records is a ledger which contains census information. The fonds also includes photocopies of newspaper articles relating to members of the First Nations whom Ryckman came into contact with as a result of his work as well as materials relating to Ryckman himself.

Fonds consists of a collection of photo albums, clippings and slides created and collected by Rita Steeds to document her travels in Korea and the Philippines.

Fonds consists of photographs that mainly document bombings in Shanghai by military forces from Japan in 1937. It is likely that the photographs of two bombing incidents were taken when Victor was a member of the Shanghai Volunteer Corps. The images show the devastation caused by the bombings including streetscapes and details of blown out buildings and dismembered casualties. Other photographs at the beginning of the album are postcards of Shanghai in its heyday before the bombings. Textual documents are from the 1930s and 1940s and include registration cards, a birthday card, a passport as well as identification cards of Victor, Valentina and Elizabeth.

Fonds consists of various photographic materials and a small number of textual records. Glass plate negatives document totem poles, house fronts, street scenes, church groups, school groups, weddings, the local store and maritime subjects in Alert Bay. Textual records include a Christmas card from Alert Bay Radio and two small pamphlets of photography instructions printed by "J. Mennie, Developing & Printing Service." The oldest negative dates from 1862, though the identity of its photographer is unknown.

It includes photographs and slides of Ivory Coast and Nigerian crafts and cultural events, correspondence, research notes about African handicrafts, typed anthropological portraits of craftspeople and related drawings, postcards and magazine clippings.

The fonds consists of two handmade scrapbooks containing maps, photographs, notes and sketches made by Leonard Humphreys during his time in the Sudan. Humphreys compiled these scrapbooks in 1978.
