The totem pole is owned by Gary Hill Sr. of the house of Wiiseks/Wiigyet. The pole was cut down and as of March 2019 there are plans to make another one.

This image, or one similar to it, is printed on page 123 of Carter's book Abundant Rivers, with the caption: "This old grave house has fallen to decay leaving some of this long departed soul's worldly goods exposed once more to the light of day. It was customary among most of the Indian tribes to bury the prized possessions of an individual along with his remains. This ancient rite is no longer practised."
