Brushes, paint, etc. in book

File contains images of paintbrushes and other painting tools used by Northwest Coast artists. The textual records contain research information about painting techniques, and information about particular paint brushes depicted in the photographs.

Painted wealth

File contains images depicting a canoe and images of Northwest Coast art. The textual records include information about the use of boxes, chests and dishes, as well as information about painted objects.

Book production

File mainly contains photocopies of images and information pertaining to the Tsimshian Housefront Screen at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Other records include copies of correspondence addressed to McLennan regarding the housefronts, and reviews of McLennan's work in the Image Recovery project.

Original photos transforming image book

File contains images of photographs used in the <i>Transforming Images</i> publication by McLennan and Karen Duffek. Textual records included in the file contain catalogue information and/or historical context about certain photographs.

Vancouver Museum

File contains images of bentwood boxes and cedar hats housed at the Vancouver Museum (now the Museum of Vancouver). The textual records contained in this file are copies of catalogue records.

Public relations

Tlingit Long-tail canoe

Other textual records include copies of correspondence between McLennan and the Royal British Columbia Museum, where many of the images were obtained from, and information about the exhibit, including a promotional handout, and a project report.
