Totem poles and Haida House Complex

Subseries consists of records pertaining to the improvements of the Haida Houses and the outdoor totem pole exhibit. Areas of focus include the conservation, restoration, installation, and preservation of the Haida Houses and totem poles, and the restoration of the surrounding landscape. Also included are records relating to the installation of the Welcoming figure and the House Post ceremony held on March 3, 1997 at the Museum of Anthropology. Skooker Broome assisted in the coordination of the installation and conservation planning of the Haida Houses and totem poles, and in the exhibit planning and coordination of the House Post ceremony.
