The fonds reflects the religious work and family history of Rev. George Stallworthy and his descendants. The fonds consists of correspondence and drawings related to the family's time in the South Pacific; 20 photographic portraits of family members; sermons, article reprints, and correspondence related to George Burnett Stallworthy's religious work and life; and a scrapbook containing memoranda, correspondence, photographs, clippings, pamphlets, genealogical research, and other ephemera from the Stallworthy family up to 1925.

The fonds is arranged into files based on the content and medium of the records.

Fonds consists of records created by Audrey Shane as Archivist/Librarian and later Curator of Documentation of the Museum of Anthropology. The records consist of mainly textual and graphic material. The records include correspondence, internal memoranda, minutes of committee meetings, reports, student papers, handwritten notations, draft copies of articles and papers, book reviews, grant applications, drafts of text labels, photographs, negatives, contact sheets, slides and other textual and graphic material related to Shane’s functions and activities at the Museum.

Fonds consists of records related to Jennifer Kramer's work as a curator at MOA. Currently only records relating to the planning and implementation of exhibits curated by Jennifer Kramer are in the fonds.

Fonds consists of a collection of photo albums, clippings and slides created and collected by Rita Steeds to document her travels in Korea and the Philippines.

Fonds consists of 21 photographs from the 1978 Bill Reid pole raising ceremony at Skidegate, an event at which Gill was an observer.

During their time living in Bella Bella, the Houstons took many photographs of the lives of the Heiltsuk First Nation community documenting the day-to-day lives of the Heiltsuk First Nation as well as ceremonial activities. The colour slides document the construction, painting, and launching of the Gi’wa, a Heiltsuk canoe which sailed with the Lootaas, the Haida canoe built by Bill Reid for Expo 86. Some of the slides document the welcome feast at Bella Bella in honour of the Haida crew of the Lootaas. The colour slides also document several potlatches and wedding feasts held in the community hall, and the local Sports Day parade. Slides also depict the role of the fishing in the community, such as smoking salmon and processing roe. Other photos document gravestones on a nearby cemetery island, derelict canneries, petroglyphs and pictographs, totem poles and house posts, all in or near Bella Bella.

The fonds consists of 28 black and white photographs taken by Codere in 1955 during her second field work expedition to B.C. 19 of the photos were taken in and around Alert Bay, while the remaining 9 were taken on Hope Island.

The fonds consists of printed ephemera relating to First Nations art, correspondence, and photographs of Gitksan totem poles.

This fonds consists of 201 photographs taken by Virginia Kehoe of various art created by Douglas Cranmer. The photographs include large scale totem pole and canoe carving projects, and smaller scale masks, carvings and artwork projects. There are also several photographs of events attended and photographed by Virginia Kehoe.

Fonds consists of a paper written for Anthropology 301 taught by Professor Dr. Michael Kew, entitled [Red Cod Island Village or Ninstints Village] - A Memorial, with accompanying colour slide images of the carved poles of Anthony Island, a permanent village of the Kunghit Haida, located on the southern shores of Haida Gwaii.

The fonds consists of photographs and textual records relating to Delahaye’s years working in Zambia, Africa with the Lozi people.

The fonds consists primarily of slides as well as other materials generated in the course of Dr. Kew’s teaching and studies of the Northwest Coast from 1971-1996 as well as from the exhibit he curated on central Coast Salish three-dimensional art.

The fonds consists of records generated by the Museum of Anthropology Public Relations and Communications Office in the course of carrying out its mandated functions and activities. In addition to textual records, the fond also includes graphic material. The records are composed of correspondence, publications, reports, press releases, photocopied newspaper clippings, minutes of staff, committee, and association meetings, and other materials relating to the activities and functions of the Public Relations and Communications Office and its staff.

The fonds consists of records relating to Hennessy’s 2003 MA thesis titled The Spirit of Collaboration: Exploring Critical Pedagogical Principles in Transforming the Museum Through Space and Time. Hennessy was interested in the relationships that developed between community members and museum staff during the process of putting together the Museum of Anthropology’s exhibit The Spirit of Islam, which ran from October 2001 to May 2002. Her purpose was to document the kinds of collaborative processes that occurred as the exhibit planning progressed in order to identify a model from which other museums working with communities might benefit.

Collection consists of 81 b&w photographic prints of the Brooks heads and one of the Vancouver airport.

The fonds consists of one file titled Interview Transcripts, which contains recorded interviews, transcripts, and printed copies of transcribed interviews of research done by Sharon Fortney towards her PhD thesis titled Forging New Partnerships: Coast Salish Communities and Museums. Forney's thesis explores what motivates Coast Salish communities to participate in museum representations; considers the legal implications of such representations with respect to aboriginal rights; and analyzes of the diverse experiences of Coast Salish individuals in specific museum projects and partnerships with the goal of progressing museum and community interactions along a path to equal partnership.

The audiotapes in the fonds contain interviews with Coast Salish community members and artists regarding museums. The CD-R contains transcripts of interviews and is located in the temporary CD storage box. Sharon Fortney's curriculam vitae, thesis abstract, and 10 interviewee consent forms are located in the case file.

Fonds consists of nitrate negatives, copy negatives, prints and postcards of China and Japan, specifically of Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing (Peking), Yokohama and Nagasaki. These images were taken by Stuart Schofield during a geological survey expedition in 1923-24. In 1925, Mrs. Florence Schofield compiled the photographs into an album and provided comments for the photos from her memory of the trip.

An accrual to this fonds was discovered in the backlog. It is not known whether this accrual was part of the original accession. In adding this accrual, the case file was consulted and the photocopy of Dr. Schofield’s journal was discovered. This was added to the binder that contains the prints, negatives, and postcards.
Dr. Elizabeth Johnson was responsible for organizing this fonds and she has identified some places and people that were not originally identified by Mrs. Schofield. Her annotations appear in square brackets.

Accrual #2010-06 was added after Dr. Johnson’s organization. This included photographs and postcards. One postcard is dated 1969, but most appear to be ca. 1923-1924 like the original materials.

Fonds reflects Brown’s career as a curator at the Museum of Anthropology, including her role as Supervisor of the Native Youth Programme. Records include correspondence, memoranda, reports, press clippings, grant applications, press releases, schedules, liability waivers, itineraries, comment books, student assignments, scripts for student presentations, photographs, and audio recordings.

The fonds consists of slides collected by Dr. Kew in the course of curating the exhibition Visions of Power, Symbols of Wealth: Central Coast Salish Sculpture and Engraving. The fonds is divided into the following series: Central Coast Salish Art Inventory ([1978]-1979), and Visions of Power, Symbols of Wealth Exhibition (1980). It also contains reports, memos, minutes and correspondence relating to the Ways and Means Committee.
