Squamish Lil'wat cultural centre

Subseries contains four files consisting of background information, meeting minutes and correspondence, research on other cultural centres, and reports. McLennan’s role in this project was to consult with community members to help them identify their needs in order to properly house their cultural heritage.

Stan Bevan and Ken McNeil

File contains images of newly carved totem poles by Stan Bevan along with accompanying correspondence regarding the poles and biography for both Stan Bevan and Ken McNeil.

Stan Greene

File contains images of Stan Green carving outside his workshop as well as close up images of his masks. In addition is coresspondence between Stan Green and Darrin Morrison inviting Green to speak at an event.

State of Alaska

File contains a copy of an article titled "Elbridge Warren Merrill of Sitka, Alaska" in volume 19 of History of Photography. In addition is a request for access to the images related to the Northwest Coast.

Sunday programs

Subseries consists of photographs documenting various Sunday programs at the MOA and the children attending them. Programs include those for the visually impaired, related to visible storage, related to Japanese heritage and culture, the Punch and Judy show, Evelyn Roth’s giant salmon and others that are unidentified. Photographs were taken by McLennan, Jean Hamilton and Stephen Inglis.

Susan Point

File contains images of Susan Point and others working on two totem poles and the giant spindle whorl displayed at YVR airport. In addition are textual records relating to the design of these artworks.
