Stationary, letterhead and branding

Series consists of stationary, letterhead, and folders, printed by the Museum of Anthropology. There are 5 pieces of letterhead, 4 empty folders, 1 "Traces of Words" notepad, and 1 business card. Also included (in separate folder in box 15-8) are documents on the rebranding of MOA in 2010.

Exhibitions and collections

Series consists of records pertaining to exhibitions at the Museum of Anthropology from the 1960s to the present day, including programming and events related to specific exhibitions. Material includes exhibition press releases, invitations, proposals, catalogues, and programmes. Records of this series are arranged into files for each represented exhibition, organized chronologically.

Guides and brochures

Series consists of informational guides, pamphlets, and brochures printed by, and about, the Museum of Anthropology from the 1970s to the 2010s. Guides and brochures cover general Museum of Anthropology information, such as opening hours, exhibitions, maps, and contact information.

Programs, events, and milestones

Series contains materials related to programs, events, and particular milestone ceremonies/celebrations at the Museum of Anthropology. Materials are primarily publicity, such as press releases, newspaper clippings, flyers, and invitations. Other record types include informational booklets, programmes, and registration forms. The series is divided into 15 files:

Some files group together materials related to specific types of programming or events ("Talks and lectures," or "Youth and children's programs," for example). Other files are focused on a specific program, event, or ceremony. The "Miscellaneous programs" file groups together materials related to more than one type of program or event.

Report of the Museum of Anthropology from 1947-1974

The report inventories exhibitions, teaching activities in the museum, programmes for preservation of First Nations material culture, interactions with other museums and galleries, public events and activities, museum students and trainees who went into museum positions, student papers based on museum materials, publications of the museum, materials gathered for the museum, and regional collections acquired.

Calendar of events

File consists of brochures that advertise exhibitions and events at the museum, including short blurbs about each. Each calendar covers a four-month period (January-April, May-August, or September-December).

Types of events described include exhibitions, opening receptions, lectures, artist talks, guided gallery walks, behind-the-scenes tours, events for youths and seniors, site visits and other excursions, conferences, workshops, identification clinics, performances, courses, school programs, calls for volunteers, sales at the gift shop, and reports on research and community-based projects. The calendars also contain museum announcements and news as well as general visitor information and lists of donors.
