This photograph consists of a group of children standing outdoors, one staff person at right. In the distant background is a station and store and the brow of a hill. Writing on the back at the photograph says "We walk over a mile to station up hill." Also added are the names of some of the girls: Leila Beaver, Ella Bear, Udell Powder-Face, Alma Wildman, Lena Rolling-in-the-mud, Georgie Two-Young-Men, Annie Poucette?, Bigger Girls Wear Shawls.
