This file contains correspondences between Wilson Duff and the curators and directors of museums whose objects were on loan for the "Images: Stone: BC" exhibition. The letters each grant permission for objects to be filmed as part of a National Film Board (NFB) documentary about the exhibition. Several senders also use the opportunity to request information about objects in their collection or to comment on other matters. One letter from the Museum of the American Indian expresses concern over the preparation of colour images as it might affect the institution's own ability to fund the production of such slides. Another from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History requests that text related to objects they have loaned is submitted to the institution for "scientific review" to ensure it is "scientifically accurate".
