General notes

The ‘General Notes” include eight leaves that appear to be written by Col. Parker, but are not dated. They include notes on such topics as ‘the moral code’, ‘2 cycles of time’, ‘Lhasa cathedra’, ‘Eight Fold Path’, and lists that include categories such as, ‘journey’, ‘country’, ‘weather’, ‘sport’, ‘people’, ‘customs’, etc..

General proposals and scope

File consists of documents relating to the exhibit's proposal and scope, including an exhibit proposal statement of intent, a description of the exhibit, curator, and participating artists, excerpts of works to be presented, a report on "Spotlight Taiwan at MOA" of project and projections for the next year, and meeting notes from the exhibit team.

General Salish

This file contains images of Coast Salish and Kwakwaka'wakw artifacts. Many of the photos are official photographs taken by various museums in Canada and the United States, but others are historical photos. These artifacts include masks, rattles, carvings, fishing equipment and fish processing, canoes, and North Coast architecture, such as long houses and house posts.

George B. Stallworthy Archives

The file reflects the work and life of George B. Stallworthy. It consists of a handwritten poem by George B. Stallworthy, printed hymns and congregational responses, reprinted copies of his resignation and obituary from the Farnham, Haslemere and Hindhead Herald, a copy of the sermon from his memorial service, a drawing gifted to him by his cousin Sarah Greenhalgh, and a drawing by his son William Wilson Stallworthy of the Mission House in Samoa where George B. Stallworthy was born.

Also includes a copy of the S.S.M. Old Boys' Association annual report from 1908-1909. Stallworthy was President of this association at this time. A newspaper clipping was tucked into this book, with a poem written by Stallworthy, "To Brother Chinaman."

George MacDonald CMC

File mainly contains copies of correspondence between McLennan and MacDonald regarding artifacts housed at the Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC) and about the House Fronts Exhibit held at the CMC. Other records include photocopies of images of Northwest Coast chests and boxes, and historical photographs.
