File contains a combination of historical and modern day images of canoes used by First Nation groups living on the Northwest Coast. The historical images contain images of village life and uses of the canoe in a historical context. The modern day images show canoes housed in various museums in Canada and the United States. The textual records contained in this file are photocopies of images of canoes, both from historical photographs and of modern day photographs.
File consists of two buttons from the efforts in 1985 efforts to protect the South Moresby islands (Gwaii Haanas) of Haida Gwaii. One button has the text: "Protect Lyell island, Haida Country." The other is from the South Moresby Caravan, 1986. Protesters efforts led to the creation of the Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve.
File mainly contains photocopies of architectural drawings and plans of the Bella Coola house that was part of the CMC House project. Other records include a list of artists from Bella Coola who were potential candidates to work on the house, and research information.

File consists of photographs taken at Anthony Island, Haida Gwaii, on a 1957 trip. The majority of the images appear to be at the Ninstints village site on Anthony Island.
An accrual of 20 slides was added to this file in March 2022, from accession 2022-3. Most appear to be duplicates of slides already in the file. These 20 slides have not been digitized.
