The recordings include interviews with different members of the Tahltan community in which they narrate traditional stories and/or talk about Indigenous traditions and ways of life

Recordings include materials created by Karen J. Clark to be used in reading classes, materials created by students during Mrs. Clark’s classes, and materials created by Mrs. Clark to track the learning capabilities of students

Institutional recordings

Subseries consists of sound recordings made or collected by the Museum of Anthropology and its staff. Some recordings were created or collected for research purposes (such as interviews); others are final products intended for some type of distribution (such as documentaries).

MOA Activities, 1976 and later

Subseries includes photographic material collected to document the organizational memory of MOA. Photographs primarily depict the events and functions that have occurred in the museum, as well as events and functions that took place outside the museum that involved MOA or MOA staff members. The subseries also contains candid shots of MOA staff members, photographs of different parts of the museum, and photographs related to MOA that have made their way into the MOA archives.

Records pertaining to the touchable exhibit for the visually handicapped

Sub-series consists of various labels and captions, final report, museum tour information, fundraising, as well as published materials and background information pertaining to the “Touchables” exhibit and a previous MoA exhibit for the blind. Colour slides depict a variety of Northwest Coast Indian objects. Sub-series also contains program assessment, publicity information and contracts.

Miscellaneous

This subseries relates to various tasks Ruus carried out for the museum. Records touch on such subjects as documentation of the transfer of the museums collection to its current facility, inventory information, some preservation/conservation tasks and design issues. Records in this series consist of slides, notes, memoranda, and correspondence.
