Subseries contains largely photographs of artworks of Northwest Coast First Nations artists located at various cultural heritage institutions as well as in private collections. The majority of the information within the files was collected by McLennan for research purposes, and includes textual documentation about the lives of the artists, correspondence with the artists, information about exhibits based on the artists’ work and newspaper clippings and other stories about the personal life of the artists.
1906 delegation to London England [Chief Joe Capilano]
File consists of collected research on the 1906 delegation of Chief Joe Capilano (Squamish), Chief Charley Isipaymilt (Cowichan), and Chief Basil David (Shuswap) to London, England. The purpose of the delegation was to petition the King on topics around land and other rights for BC First Nations.
File contains images of newly carved totem poles by Stan Bevan along with accompanying correspondence regarding the poles and biography for both Stan Bevan and Ken McNeil.

Large Collection and Heiltsuk Art History" by Martha Black, "Searching for Du'klwayella" by Pam Windsor, and "A Brief Autosketch of my Life, and Missionary Activities During the Past Fifty-Eight Years; For the Information and use of the United Church of Canada" by Reverend C.M. Tate. In addition are correspondence between Bill McLennan and the Canadian Museum of Civilization, Sotheby's Auction, Movable Cultural Property (Federal Government) and Joan Hall. This file also contains photographs of Captain Carpenters' carvings.
