Series consists of correspondence between Dean Douglas T. Kenny and other members of the Planning and Coordinating Committee, and other committees concerned with obtaining resources for continuing operation of the Museum of Man, and letters from federal and provincial government departments. Also included are budget estimates, maintenance estimates, copies of minutes from various committees, a pamphlet concerning the erosion of Point Grey Cliff, and a notice concerning the Point Grey Cliffs from the UBC Alumni Association. The majority of the correspondence is copies of outgoing correspondence.

Series consists of materials pertaining to the Museum of Anthropology's gift shop. These materials include communications about the shop's opening, advertisements for gift shop products, information about sales and special events, and the online store. Record types include press releases, informational pamphlets and hand-outs, product order forms, and bookmarks.

Series consists of cards and postcards printed by the Museum of Anthropology. Most of the cards/postcards are blank or contain a pre-printed message.

Textual records in this series consists of research material and iconic analysis cards complied and/or accumulated by Sawyer, or by his students, regarding Northwest Coast artifacts. Other textual records include correspondence Sawyer had with various museums regarding Northwest Coast items in their collections.

Series contains photographs collected for curatorial research by MOA staff, mostly relating to First Nations geographical areas, cultures, and artists. The series also includes photographs documenting MOA activities, staff, and volunteers.

Series consists of the sound recordings about, by, or related to the Museum of Anthropology. Sound recordings can be found in many collections and fonds in the MOA Archives; the recordings in this General Media collection are those that do not belong to a more specific archival collection, usually because their provenance is not known.
