Chief “Bob” Selqua of Pavilion – Lillooet Indian village. Says his ancestors painted a man pictograph every time a chief died. The pictures of stars around one of the men indicate his greatness and some of the pictures represent bear tracks

Series documents Cunningham’s responsibilities as exhibits designer, and consists of records related to the planning and implementation of various exhibits since the late 1980s. In addition to his role as designer, Cunningham has also been involved in producing exhibit proposals; assisting with travelling exhibits; and developing exhibition policies and guidelines. This series relates to the personal history and life of Harry Hawthorn and his wife Audrey. The series primarily consists of photographs with some textual records, slides, and photographic negatives. A number of files consist of family photograph albums, featuring images of Harry Hawthorn’s family and childhood, his children, and a separate album relates to Harry Hawthorn’s Travels in BC between 1947 and 1951. Multiple files relate to Audrey Hawthorn, and three files illustrate a compiled account of interactions between the Hawthorns and Bill Reid that span from the 1950’s through 2000.
