McDonald’s exhibit (Big Mac box)

Subseries contains images of the student exhibit titled <i>Show and Tell: The Story of the Big Mac Box</i> as well as negatives of the text panels for the exhibit. Students were part of the Anthropology 431 (Museum Principles and Methods) class.

Booklet

File contains the booklet Hands of Our Ancestors, written by Elizabeth Johnson and Kathryn Bernick. This booklet was published as No. 16 in the Museum Note series. In addition this file contains the invitation to the opening of the exhibition.

U.B.C. Museum of Anthropology Annual Report 1982-1983

The report outlines the museum's administrative activities and finances for the previous fiscal year as well as listing staff, acquisitions, exhibitions, educational activities, lectures, events, loans, research projects, publications of the museum and its staff, and media coverage of the museum. The report is based on an Activity Report submitted to the National Museums of Canada, from which the museum received an operating grant.

Museum quality

Subseries consists of images showing objects exhibited during the exhibit titled Museum Quality. This exhibit was purchased for the Museum’s permanent collection by the Anthropology Shop Volunteers. Photographs were taken by Moya Waters.
