The file contains multiple correspondences with Randy Bouchard, co-founder of the British Columbia Indian Language Project (BCILP), with Wilson Duff and Marjorie Halpin. The letters relate to the translation of Franz Boas' "Indianische Sagen", as well as work of the BC Indian Language Project to develop ethno-zoological resources for multiple First Nations languages. Related to this, one letter requests comments on Doe Kennedy's "Utilization of fishes, beach foods, and marine animals by the Tl'uhus Indian people of British Columbia", and another was sent along with a copy of "Knowledge and usage of land mammals, birds, insects, reptiles and amphibians by the Squamish Indian people of British Columbia".
